May 4th – Remembrance and Celebration of Resistance

On May 4th, we will gather at 11:00 AM to commemorate the end of World War II and celebrate the resistance against fascism, racism, and discrimination. Together with NGO’s and other union collectives, we will meet at the Fort of Breendonk to reflect on history and to strengthen the fight against injustice in the present and future. We commemorate and demand the reinstallment of the 8th of May as a public holiday. This remembrance is a powerful moment to reflect, remember, and unite in the struggle for a just world for all, including the Palestinian people.
